Excel Housing

Excel Housing Solutions, which was established in 2013, provides supported accommodation to single males and females aged 18 and above across Sefton and Liverpool.

The focus of the service is on providing medium to high-level housing support via one-to-one and group activities, with input from partner agencies, to ensure tenants receive all the information and advice they need to move towards independent living.

Each client can receive support from the service for up to 24 months and, by the end of this period, will be equipped for independent living and have moved into their own accommodation.

However, Excel aims to reduce this period to approximately 6-18 months wherever it can by utilising move-on options from within its property portfolio to increase throughput and maximise access to the service.

To ensure a new tenancy is sustainable, designated key workers will maintain contact with clients for six months after they exit the service.
