Venus

Venus manages 17 units of supported accommodation, offering a mix of shared and dispersed properties. We deliver one-to-one work with clients and our partners to provide emotional and practical support to residents, so they may develop the skills and confidence they need to make a success of living independently.

Venus is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that has been based in Sefton for 21 years and operates predominantly within the borough.

The charity aims to empower, promote and support its service users to help them develop their potential, recognise their choices, achieve their goals and challenge injustice.

Venus runs a range of services which include a centre for looked-after children and care leavers in Sefton, a money advice project, a counselling and therapy service, life-skills training, support for families at risk and a range of targeted drop-in and group sessions.

Some of the charity’s work particularly targets women, young people, children and families.
